  • Our Warranty Terms

    Our warranty is for repair or exchange at our discretion it does not offer or infer any financial refund (Please see Refunds and Returns) Bikemp3, Inc. (“BIKEMP3”) warrants that all BIKEMP3 and GL2WAY branded products (“Product”) shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials, and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of the Product. The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser of the Product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end-user.
 This warranty is limited to the repair and or replacement, at BIKEMP3’s discretion, of defective or non-conforming Product, and BIKEMP3 shall not be responsible for the failure of the Product to perform specified functions, or any other non- conformance caused by or attributable to: (i) any misapplication or misuse of the Product; (ii) failure of Customer to adhere to any of BIKEMP3’s specifications or instructions; (iii) neglect of, abuse of, or accident to, the Product; or (iv) any associated or complementary equipment or software not furnished by BIKEMP3.

Limited warranty service may be obtained by delivering the Product to BIKEMP3 or to the distributor it was purchased through and providing proof of purchase or receipt date. The Customer agrees to insure the Product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit, to prepay shipping charges to and from BIKEMP3, and to use the original shipping container or equivalent. It is essential that customers report any and all warranty issues as they arrise by mail or email(Phone calls are not sufficient) for ongoing issues it is the responsibilty of the customer not BikeMP3 to report any further issues within SEVEN 7 days, products that are returned to customers that are still experiencing issues must be reported to BIKEMP3 within 14 days of receipt by the customer after this period it is agreed that the customer is happy with the product and the warranty claim will be closed out. In the case of a warranty claim even if the product is replaced the warranty is only valid from the date of original purchase and does not restart from the date of replacement. Some products contain components from various manufacturers, components other than the BIKEMP3 and GL2WAY branded units and cables are warranted by the individual item manufacturer all claims must be handled by that company and following the procedures they set down. While we are happy to handle warranty issues on products purchased from us for you, you may obtain faster service by contacting the manufacturer directly, Antennas/Mounts/Splitters are specifically not covered by the BIKEMP3 warranty and the manufacturer should be contacted directly for issues with these products, BikeMP3 may at its descretion choose to help facilitate in certain cases with these products.

    REFUNDS AND RETURNS: WITHIN THE FIRST TWENTY (20) DAYS
    BikeMP3 reserve the right to refund or issue a 100% store credit in place of any other form of refund on any return at the discretion of the Company or it's Owners, No refund will be issued without the company first receiving the product subject to the return at the Companies designated address as given to the Customer at the time of issuance of the return authorization. The Company may charge a 25% or $15 return fee whichever is greater at its discretion. Absolutely no refunds will be given on items where prior disclosure of possible operational abnormalities has been disclosed unless that item has been shown to have a defect in manufacture within the first 20 days, request after this time will be treated as warranty claims and will be repaired or exchanged as per our Warranty terms. Return Requests must be made within 20 days of invoice date, in original, un-installed, un-opened manufacturers original packaging to be eligible for return. Items not meeting this criteria cannot be sold as new again to someone else, and will be shipped back at customer's expense. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, we do not refund shipping, Items shipped to customers with free shipping will incur a minimum $12 shipping fee deducted from any refund or store credit issued.. We carefully inspect and test your returned items, and determine their condition meets the above criteria, items returned as faulty will be fully tested and returned to the customer at the customers expense should they be found to be functional. Returns will not be accepted due to a customers lack of technical ability required to install, load software or perform other tasks required to enable the product to function as designed where it has been shown the majority of purchasers of the same product are able to perform such tasks.

    PRICE MATCH:
    See main product pages for offers regarding price match, we only match prices on products offered on general sale, that is products available to buy without becoming a club member or paying any kind of fee to obtain the discounted pricing. Item must be in stock and offered from a US based retailer, eBay sales are specifically excluded as qualifying sales for the terms of this offer.     At the present time we use either direct Visa or MasterCard or PayPal account or credit card payments including discover for processing all orders,customers do not require a PayPal account in order to place an order. Payment is taken at the time of order regardless of wether the item is "IN STOCK" or "BACKORDERED"

    SHIPPING:
    BikeMP3 will make all possible efforts to ship in stock products within 3 working days however actual delivery times may vary by location and delivery service terms and conditions. Bike MP3 cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage however caused after the delivery courier confirms delivery either by direct or indirect signature or by other means usually employed by the delivery company. All damage and losses must be reported to BikeMP3 within 24 hours of the delivery company confirming delivery. Backordered items may take up to 28 working days to arrive after ordering, in the case of backordered items this will be clearly noted on our website at the time of ordering or by email within 24 hours after ordering, customers purchasing Backordered items do so accepting that this delivery time of up to 28 working days is a condition of the sale. BikeMP3 reserve the right to ship orders for multiple products in several shipments and at different times.

    TRANSFER:
    All warranties and rights reside with the original purchaser only and are not transferable under any circumstances.

    INSTALLATION OF PRODUCTS:
    Installation of our products should always be conducted by BikeMP3 (The Company Or Its Owners) or BikeMP3 trained technicians, should any customer choose to attempt the installation of any of our products personally or instruct any non BikeMP3 trained 3rd party to conduct the installation any resulting damage however caused is completely the responsibility of the customer BikeMP3 (The Company Or Its Owners) cannot be held responsible in any way.

    IPOD FIRMWARE AND THE GL1800 DISPLAY:
    Our iPod unit supports playback with nearly all versions of iPod firmware this we guarantee, however the GL1800 radio display is very restricted on what it can show we cannot account for changes to the iPod firmware made from time to time by Apple or indeed the infinite variation of music loads possible on an iPod, we will try to allow for these changes but we will cannot grantee what will and will not be displayed therefore we will not accept returns on this unit due to iPod firmware or what is or is not displayed on the GL1800 radio display unless the unit will not play music form a correctly formatted iPod.


    REFURBISHED PRODUCTS: All refurbished products are processed to order and this may take up to 28 working days before they are despatched.

    FUNCTIONALITY: All products are designed to play and change tracks and or folders, no performance guarantee is offered or inferred as to what will or will not be displayed on the audio system LCD during the use of our units.

    VEHICLE RELATED:
    All of our products are tested on the vehicle they are sold to work on by BikeMP3.com, should an issue arise that BikeMP3.com or it's Owners deem Vehicle specific BikeMP3.com and or it's owners reserve the right to refuse return or refund at there discretion. With specific regard to the Honda GL1800 it has been established that the OEM audio system has an instability which may cause the system and the BIKEMP3 unit to loose communication and not change tracks or folders and require a system reset, BIKEMP3 will not accept returns due to this occurrence.

    GOVERNING LAW: In the event of litigation both parties agree that the Law of the State of Florida of Bike MP3 shall apply and both parties shall consent to the jurisdiction of said State's courts, or in the event of diversity of citizenship, the United States District Court for the (District). Both parties expressly waive a trial by jury.
